About the founder: 3D hub was started by Reno Goelen, a student with a passion for 3D printing. Ever since discovering the possibilities of 3D printing at school, I wanted to challenge myself doing it better.
Purchase of first 3D printer: In 2019 the first 3D printer was purchased. A Creality Ender-5. It's still in operation to this day.
Purchase of second 3D printer: In 2022, a second 3D printer was purchased, the Creality Halot One. This marked a new milestone: we were now able to not only use conventional FDM printing, but it opened the door to Resin 3D printing!
Purchase of third 3D printer: In 2024, a third printer was purchased, the Flashforge Creator Pro 2. This marked yet another milestone: this is the first so called 'IDEX' printer in our arsenal. It has 2 independently controllable nozzles. This enables us to print single parts consisting of different materials simultaneously!
